Just a quick blog tonight... but I had to mention this: We had some extra grocery money, and the bf offered to order delivery... I thought about it, and I just didn't want it. I knew there were some semi-healthy options, but none of them sounded like something I wanted at the moment.. and, surprisingly, the unhealthy ones sounded even worse. We decided to go to whole foods to spend our money and bought a wild-caught salmon filet to cook up at home with veggies. We also picked up some fresh bell pepper, blackberries, guacamole, and turkey breast slices. Oh, and some dark chocolate :)
So, this is me now.... turning down delivery food and eating salmon instead. I knew the salmon would make me feel good, and that meant a lot more to me than the immediate gratification of the tempting foods.
This is major progress for me :) I'm proud of myself.
I was really, really tired today, despite a 2 hour nap. I'm not sure what's up with that... but I'm going to bed early tonight. I didn't get my yoga done, but I did do a good stretch.
Tomorrow the bf's parents will be in town, so we will be eating out... I want to choose something full of veggies, without PUFA oils and of course no gluten...so maybe some nice grilled meat on a salad with salsa, or something like that -- I'll see what I'm in the mood for tomorrow.
