July Progress/August Goals

Tuesday, August 06, 2013

Overall I lost 9lbs and recorded over 1000 fitness minutes in July. I don't log all of those individually for my team challenge because some are just the walking around the house minutes from fitbit but I'm proud of the 1000 minute number. I really can't complain since I spent several days at MIL's trying to clean out her house to get ready to go on the market.

emoticon Complete A Book Club's Joyful July Challenge with at least 1 maximum point day per week-- I did complete the challenge but I didn't have a maximum point day during each week. I did log over 500 fitness minutes for the challenge alone.

emoticon Try a Zumba Class-Nope, I was going to go and then my foot was bothering me. Hopefully in August or September

emoticon Track daily and be in personal carb range at least 3x per week--No, I gave up on tracking when life got really crazy.

emoticon Make substantial progress on house to do list over July 4th weekend -Well, we didn't make substantial progress that weekend as DH didn't feel well but throughout the month we made substantial progress. The living room is painted and new trim is installed waiting for carpet to arrive later this week. The ruined kitchen floor from my washing machine mistake is gone and the new one is installed. Now working on painting the trim, ceiling, and doors in the guest bedroom that never got finished so that will be done before carpet this week. Some day we will get new trim up there but for now it is fine since the paint isn't peeling around it like on the first floor. I still feel like the house is a pit but that is just because things are everywhere instead of where they are supposed to be due to the upcoming carpet install.

emoticon Clean up workspace by July 22nd--Nope, but I did make progress by the end of the month.

August Goals:

emoticon Complete A Book Club's August Challenge. There is a component for trying new recipes and new exercises this month so that should help. My personal goal for the month is to work on the house for at least 15 min per day.

emoticon Track at least 15 days this month- 8 done

emoticon Try at least 2 new freggies this month- purchased, now to eat them. Star Fruit and Yuca/Cassava Root

emoticon Clean up workspace by end of the month.

emoticon Substantially complete final CE class for the year by the end of the month.

emoticon on the 1000 fitness minutes! That's an accomplishment! You did well on your goals considering how hectic your life was in July. I completely understand about tracking going out the window (as you know!). Here's to a GREAT August!
