Post vacation challenges...

Well I just got back from a few days spent with my husband. It was a much needed retreat from normal life. No kids with us. It was sweet, intimate and fun. Honestly I didn't want to come back. It's been years since we had done that. However, during that time, I did not eat well. In fact I abandoned my healthy eating for indulgence. Drank soda, which I never do, ate chocolate and birthday cake and fondue and yummy Mexican food (omgoodness).. That was so good.
As you might guess, I gained 10 pounds!!!! I know at least 5 pounds is water retention from salty foods and riding in car. The other 5 pounds are probably a legit gain. So back to the gym today. It was really hard today. Lost one of my workout partners, changed gyms, and felt sluggish and weak. Also running on low sleep and having some personal stress. Trying to refocus on God and my spiritual walk. Started SparkCoach today and trying out the free week... We will see how that goes...
