I was about to give it up. When you have so much to loose it can be hard to stay motivated. In our world today everything is so quick and expected now that it is hard to let go of that mentality.

My saving grace was pulling out a pair of pants from last summer, 2 sizes down from where I was when I started. They fit! I didn't loose a pound this week but I must have lost an inch or two.

So I am going to start measuring myself as well as weigh in.

    You are so awesome! No, really. It is okay to struggle and you are right...our society has taught us that we should have everything and have it now...but then if we did, what would we have to look forward to.

    If we lost weight overnight we would stop focusing on caring for ourselves alot and very quickly. And we would be yo-yo dieting A LOT!!!
    You are keeping it real. You are doing great! I am so proud of you for having the guts to even pull that pair of capris out of your closet and taking the risk of them fitting or NOT.

    So glad to know you and have you as a part of the team!

    Yay for YOU!! NINJA_GRAN always keeps something the next size or two down to measure her progress....I think it is a great idea. Way to go! :)

    Also, have you set mini-goals...I know that helps many people. Just a thought to stay motivated...
