I'm pretty disappointed in myself tonight. I tried to stay good, but I let my defenses down and wound up eating a TON of potato chips and two large bowls of chex... I know it was the stress of the day that led me to it, but I need to find a better way to deal with my stress than eating.

So frustrating, but I keep trudging on...

We all have those days. What's important that is we learn from those "days" and what we can do differently next time!

Do you have any hobbies you can use instead? I knit. This helps me keep my hands busy and I get something out of it.

Dr Phil says if you dont keep them in the house you cant eat them. That is something I HAD TO DO because I was an emotional eater, therefore I cleaned my food cupboards and kept only healthy foods I would have to cook. Somehow I never did cook anything up, I rather reached for a cadburies low cal (50cal per cup) hot chocolate. It did the trick. You might try keeping some of that chocolate in your cupboards for those times.

If you find yourself getting into things..try brushing your teeth right then! it gets the taste out of your mouth and makes it easier to resist other stuff.

Sorry you got into eating trouble today...I did too. Wish it had just been potato chips!

tomorrow is a new day. Fresh start. Prepare for possible gobbledowns and you are less likely to get into trouble! emoticon
