Day 4-Juicing+1 Meal

Today is day 4 of having juice for breakfast, lunch, and an evening snack, and having one meal of salad or steamed vegetables.
Things have been going well so far. The first day I was hungry pretty much all day, but not at an unbearable level. Day 2 and 3 the only time I was really hungry was late at night, which is always my hungriest time. Smelling my roommate's dinner and snacks at that time makes it harder. Today has been the worst as far as hunger. I gave in at lunchtime and had a salad instead of just a juice. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand it seems crazy to feel like I cheated and failed for eating a salad, but on the other hand I wanted to stick to my plan. I am feeling really low on energy today too which seems strange, since the first three days I felt pretty energetic and had energy to finish up a move up 3 flights of stairs.
I weighed yesterday and was down 1 pound. Today the scale hasn't budged. I'm a little disappointed since I thought weight loss with juicing would average half a pound to a pound a day. Could having one salad a day with the juice really slow down the weight loss that much?
One huge positive to starting this plan is when I get hungry and crave food I always crave salad now instead of pizza and ice cream.
Moving has been exhausting, but I've burned tons of calories going up and down three flights of stairs, carrying heavy boxes, etc. I'm really happy that I have stuck to my diet despite how hard it has been during the move.
