Day 12 - Continuing NOT Starting Over

Monday, August 05, 2013

I woke up Saturday morning before dawn to a voice telling me that I would be driving to Tennessee. I was NOT excited. Another 4 state journey. This was the only day that I didn't drink my water. emoticon I was so disappointed. I did drink water when I ate out at supper. So I am still moving forward with the water drinking. Also, I am not having to put the flavors into the water.

I ended up driving to Woodlawn TN. On the way back through Kentucky I got trapped on the bridge due to repairs. We were rerouted through Cairo, Illinois so I decided to drive on up to Anna then on to Carbondale. I finally made it back to Missouri around 11 p.m.

I cooked all day yesterday. I cooked spaghetti, put a lasagna in the freezer, and froze about 60 burritos (bean, beef, beef & bean & chicken). I have a menu for this entire pay period so there is NO reason to eat out. NONE!!!!

It's a new week and I'm not thinking about starting over. I didn't eat the best over the weekend, but it's not the worst. I did get a treadmill out of the trip, so I have NO excuse for not getting in at least a little exercise every day.

Here's to a great week!!!! emoticon

How are you liking that treadmill? I have found mine useful if it is too hot or too cold for me to get out and be comfortable.

I would like to put some freezer meals away myself. I need to get on that. Thanks for the inspiration!

At least that is a really pretty drive from Cairo to Anna to Carbondale. That bridge work down there is causing some people an 80 mile detour. That blows my mind.

We had to go to Olney using the 161 Extension to route 45 to Flora and then on to Olney. It was only 63 miles but we didn't eat well either.
