I know I just blogged a couple of days ago. Don’t want to be a pest, but I just had to show you something that a SparkBuddy sent me in the mail this weekend. It’s just so much fun. Thank you, SNOWYOGA!!!
hOOping Ronald-how cute is this??
Also, as I mentioned in the vlog, Tom, Shelley and I are planning on earning our 30,000 Steps in a Day FitBit badge this Saturday (Aug. 10). We may even have some more friends joining us that day. The more the merrier, I always say. If you want to join us virtually, be sure to leave me a comment or SparkMail me to let me know. I’m compiling a list and we’re gonna give everybody a shout-out in our vlog. Won’t that be fun? We’ll all be doing it together. The current plan is to do one early morning walk, then take a break. I’ll come home and post our progress in a Part 1 vlog. Then, that evening, we’ll take another big walk and crush the 30,000 steps challenge together. And I’ll post a victorious vlog that evening or the next day, depending on how fried my brain is. It’s so much fun planning active play dates like this with my buddies. Kids do NOT get to have all the fun. No, no they don’t.
I’ll leave you with a couple of pics from my creative journal entries last week. Why? Because it’s Monday and you might need a smile.
Prompt was to make something with crayons. Bumbrella the Monster, a vector drawing I did on my iPad, plus two boxes of melted crayons on canvas. Art, I tell you, art.
Prompt was to remake a piece of classical artwork. Behold, the Google-Eyed Masterpiece Collection. Why this isn’t hanging in the Louvre, I’ll never know.
And THIS--oh my gosh, I saw this in the grocery store yesterday and had to show you. It’s on my Dear Santa list this year.
Wonder Woman PotatoHead--I’m gonna need a bigger Shelf of Awesomeness...
Spark ON, Brave Sparkers! Make it a great Monday. :)
UPDATE: So far, we have 24 SparkBuddies who are joining us Saturday (virtually)! So fun to think we'll be doing this together, from places all over the world. Holler at me if you want to join in on the fun. You don't have to have a FitBit; you can use a pedometer, or app, or abacus, whatever you want to use to count your 30,000 steps. Just let me know if you're in and we'll give you a shout-out in our vlog.
Making fitness FUN!!! Woo to our hoos, people, woo to our hoos.
