Rainbows

It is summer in the Rockies and that means afternoon thunder storms, sometimes with rain, sometimes not. The lake is so low that my lake view is completely gone - it's all overgrown and green. Still a beautiful view but I miss my lake...

The other evening we had a beautiful double rainbow:





I love the smell and the sound of rain and how fresh it all feels afterwards but I could do without the mud... Not having paved areas till we get to the main road makes for sloppy walking.
