So. July was wonderful--summer at its best here in central BC. Lots of sun, rain pretty much as needed. I enjoyed gardening, visiting, lazing and sun tanning and welcomed Grandson #2 into the world.
Notice anything missing? Yeah. No regular exercise, very little Sparking : (
Weight, flexibility, core, endurance, strength got away from me. Like the local wildlife, I seem to have been packing on the pounds in preparation for a long, hard winter : ) As the saying goes, I'm summering well!
There are 10 weeks till my 67th birthday. New goal: lose 1.5 lb per week for each of those 10 weeks. Back to basics: start the day with a core/stretch routine; walk/run or swim daily; add some strength work; eat properly and track nutrition; Spark faithfully. It *should* be a snap : )
Yogahhhhhhh? I did 15 minutes of Sun Salutations first thing this morning. Well begun is half done, right?
