Healthy habits

I find it isn't hard to stick to a healthy habit as long as I plan and am prepared. Drinking water...I prep three 24 oz water bottles in the morning, if I do I drink and if I don't I don't drink...exercise, I know what I am going to do and then I don't hit the snooze button...snooze button means plan goes off track...same with meals...with planning and prepping its easy and it happens...no planning and prepping means unhealthy foods and drinks, no exercising and a lot of sitting!

    I agree! If I don't set my running stuff out the night before, fumbling around for it in the morning and trying to be quiet so as not to wake anyone tends to be a real pain. If they I do, they almost seem to call me out of the bed...

    I have found the same to be true for me. In order for me to stick to my eating and workout plan, I have to prepare.

    I have to have healthy foods or meals available or already prepared. I pack my breakfast, lunch, and snacks for work the night before. I lay my workout clothes out the night before. I write out my workout in my workout book before I do it so I know exactly what I'm going to do ahead of time and don't waste time.

    You've heard the expression: Failing to plan is planning to fail.

    Completely agree with you!! Planning and prepping are key. When I offer this tip to friends trying to lose weight, they nod and say, "Uh huh, yes, hmmm, well, that sounds like a lot of work." Yep, welcome to the weight loss journey folks.

    Planning is truly amazing on a weight loss journey! I do the same thing - get my water ready for the day, prepare my meals for the day, I sleep in my workout clothes sometimes just in case I wake up with a case of "I'm not in the mood"S! lol! Keep planning ahead and sparking on!
