So, I weighed myself earlier.

I was afraid I'd gain weight, after the past week of indulging myself and lazy recording that I'd had.

I took a sneak peek about 2 hours before I was supposed to weigh in. I looked pretty average. Like I didn't lose weight, but I didn't gain any either.

After the sneak peek, I didn't eat or drink ANYTHING.

Still, the body works in mysterious ways. I'd gained 2 pounds from last week's weigh in at the same time!

I can't say I'm surprised. I mean, this past week was full of indulgent foods and general laziness. I did exercise, but if I'm eating high-sodium foods, at higher-than-normal calories, then the exercise is just going to help me not gain AS MUCH weight.

So, yeah, I'm disappointed. I'm not going to let this get me down though. Yes, I did have Taco Bell for dinner tonight (and then bug-eyed as I saw the nutrition information) but I only ate the one item, not both items. Essentially, I did control myself when it came to actually eating the dinner. And, I used my soda trick, where I fill up the cup completely with ice, before adding the sugary drink, so that helped cut down on a LOT of calories as well.

Will next week be better? I don't feel comfortable making any promises- but it definitely won't have AS MANY of the same temptations as we've had this past week.

Tomorrow is going to be busy. It's our shopping day, plus we're doing the School Shopping and taking advantage of the Tax-Free Weekend on top of that. And, we're going to go donate some items to Goodwill. AND, we're going to go visit my brother with a small gift, since his birthday was this past Friday and tomorrow will be the best opportunity for us to see him. So, I might wimp out and ask for some take-out for lunch. We'll see.

Other than that, next week seems like a fairly normal week- to me at least.

If I gain again next week, I may need to look into restricting my diet a little bit (NOTHING major, just tweaks in things like snacks and breakfasts,) and possibly exercising on the weekends, which are supposed to be my rest days normally.
