scales lie

Thursday, August 01, 2013

About a week ago i had purchased a under armour tank top that was in a xl and usually i fit a xxl or even a xxxl ... which by then is venturing into mens sizes for workout clothes and that usually means non cute.

anyways i took a picture when i got home and then yesterday bc i failed to do laundry i was forced to use that tank top . I wasnt feeling up to it but i had no other choice well i put it on and to my surprise it fit a bit differently . not a whole lot but enough to make me take pictures.

Then it made me happy bc even if the scale does not say that you are losing weight you have to focus on other things such as pictures and measurements and your habits .

they have improved greatly.

picture will be posted up and even though its a small change i am happy with it bc for a few days i have been feeling defeated by the scale

Like it really shows in my walks bc usually you walk slow then you get into your walking mode and i could not for the life of me for the past 2 walks , couldnt do it

so its currently almost 9 am , i am going to eat breakfast and walk on in the garage it looks like its going to rain again ... and we have another hurricane watch , hurricane gil i think ?

hope everybody has a great thursday ,

I have stopped checking my weight. I take that back, I checked my weight at the start of July and I will check it again at the end of September. I just get all upset and frustrated, so I won't let it rule me any more.

emoticon Throw that scale out the window if it is costing you your walks!

Thanks for reminding me to look for NSV (non scale victories)! I have been getting my activity in but having a hard time controling my food/hunger!
