I've been in a funk lately. Not necessarily a BAD one, but it's definitely not one that's been conducive to SparkPeople.

I think it's mostly because my son's been on his vacation, so hubby and I have been having more "us time." Which, includes, eating out, going out, etc. and general non-computery stuff.

Which means that I've been on SparkPeople less.

Although I do find a couple moment to record my activity, when it comes to recording my food, I get VERY resistant to doing so... even if it's something simple. Most likely I'm resistant and hesitant to record my food because, frankly, my choices have been less than stellar. Today, for instance, even with the calories RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, my greed took over and I ordered a 500 calorie DRINK instead of something about half the calorie count. Tsk. Otherwise, my choices for today were pretty normal.. but because I'm afraid of what I'll see on the tracker, I'm afraid to punch it in (I probably will later.)

And this is having an effect on my other SparkPeople activities as well. Up until last week, it became a bit of a personal game to try and get 100 points per day. For these last few days, I'm lucky to get 25 and earn the bonus spin!

And, of course, yesterday I didn't blog. :(

The kiddo is back home now. Hopefully the homelife routine will get back in the swing of things relatively quickly- and my SparkPeople routine will follow as well.

    Sometimes once I start tracking, even if it is bad, it helps me figure out how, next time, I can make slightly better choices, even while indulging. Good luck getting back in the routine.
