Weigh-In Wednesday

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

Ack! I'm so irritated! I wrote a blog last night, forgot to save it and SP ate it! Note to self: do NOT forget to copy before hitting send, especially between 2 and 2:30 in the morning. I'll try to recap later.

Anyway, I weigh-in on Wednesdays because I read a blog by someone who motivated me and he started trying to lose weight on Wednesday, so that's when he got on the scale. I like it because it breaks up that Monday mentality of starting fresh (which never worked for me before) and also gives me a couple of days to undo what I ate over the weekend. I try to stay healthy but I usually eat out at least once and I might have a dessert.

So today I got on the scale and I'm down 1.4 pounds from last week. Yay!!!!! Since I gained 3.6 pounds AFTER starting SP - don't ask - I am almost back to my original number. At one point I would be annoyed at myself for that gain but I am a kinder, gentler me and am forgiving myself and moving one. One day at a time. Baby steps. I am on my way.

SP ate one of my blogs two days ago, so I have made the same resolution to always copy before posting! I think the Webnesday weight in is a great idea and you are doing awesome. How is your workout motivation working?

So happy for you!! Way to go girl. I weigh in on Saturday morning. That way I have the whole next week to make up for any damage done on the weekend. lol .. Even though I weigh in on other days, my official log day is Saturday mornings.
    Keep it up!

Don't sweat that initial gain. Are you working out? Starting a new program of exercise can cause our muscles to retain water. Weight gain when beginning a new program is normal. Give your program a long time to work and you will be less discouraged. Good luck!
