Every time, I would start some kind of training program like TurboJam, Chaleen Extreem and sparkpeople... they all had one thing in common. They all said to make yourself accountable to people... as many as you can but as long as it is not to yourself only. Well that is what I am doing right now, making myself accountable to anyone and everyone who sees this sparkpage blog.

Yes I said I would lose weight, eat healthier, excersise...etc but I wanted something MORE. That's when I thought of my shorts – you know...everyone has a pair of those jeans, shorts, dress maybe a bikini and so on that once fit but doesn’t anymore, and you just can’t get yourself to get rid of them because “one day” THEY WILL FIT!!! These are my shorts!

As you can see they are hung up right on my door, starting today those shorts will becomre my constant reminder of what my goals are! They are mini (size 11) blue jean shorts that I have owned for as long as I can remember...However, I cannot remember the last time I was actually able to fit in them comfortably...Without that muffin top just hanging right over them. I always told myself that one day I would fit in them. So I figured that I would use them to make me accountable and motivate me towards my goal – in order to fit in them I need to lose my weight and tone up!

To make sure this actually helps me, I took pictures of what they look like on me now. These pictures will not only help motivate me but they will help me visually keep track of my progress.

So this is me making myself accountable to everyone – I WILL FIT IN THESE SHORTS. Maybe not this week, or in a month but by next summer – July 2014 – THEY WILL FIT!
