Official Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge

This week I managed to successfully curb my cravings. I substituted sweets with veggies and fruits - mostly red peppers and oranges.
As I unfortunately have been diagnosed with pregnancy diabetes, I monitor my blood sugar levels few times a day. It has proven to be extremely helpful in weigh management and diet planning. It is a exactly a kind of immediate feedback that was lacking in my previous diet attempts and fitness efforts.

    Thanks for sharing your good news! That's a wonderful place to be, where the natural flavors of foods is delicious without adding salt or sugar. For me, one bite of refined sugar or refined sugar products kills my tastebuds and blots out the naturally sweet flavor of carrots and squash and such. Then it takes me some days to get out of the cravings. Is it that way for you? (If you haven't had this experience, I hope you never do!)
