Nothing worth having comes easy…

and anything that comes easy isn’t usually worth having.

This morning I was very inspired by SP member Pixie-licious who said : Struggling. Some people see struggling as a bad thing. Some people think that if you're struggling, then you are failing. I don't see it like that. I see struggling as a positive thing, because I know that if I am struggling, it means I am not giving up. If I'm struggling, then I'm still trying. And if I keep trying, then I will succeed.

This is so true!

I struggle to stay in my points and I think that is where I used to give up. I found it hard so I would quit. Or I would exercise and be sore for a few days and then not be able to get going again. I used to think so negatively about my struggle. I thought the struggle was what deterred me from continuing. But something changed and now I embrace the struggle. It now keeps me focussed on improving and each time I get a bit better, I feel stronger and more determined. It feels so good to push through that and realize I CAN do it.

I read her blog as well. I never thought of struggling in this way before. Makes me think differently about a lot of things on this weight loss journey. Thanks for pointing out her blog!

I read her blog too and it was a big help. Learning from the struggles instead of being defeated by them is the key. Sounds like you are on the right path.
