The Cream-sicle Punch Experiment

It's not always easy to appreciate protein too early in the morning, but we know our bodies need some as soon as possible upon waking. I just mixed a pitcher of cream-sicle punch that I made up. I've seen similar recipes and I'm just mixing what I've got right now: a batch of reconstituted orange juice, a cup or so of Activia probiotic blackberry yogurt and a quart or Litre of sparkling lime water. It's a bit tart - it might be good to add a bit of ginger ale, next chance I get and for some reason, Greek yogurt just always seems better. I'd like to find something my son can enjoy in the morning, too, so I'll work on perfecting this to his taste, as well! :)

    Interesting concoction. Never thought about making a "punch" for the morning get up and go.....might have to try this. I used to eat some fruit within an hour of getting up (read you should eat something within an hour of rising). Now I eat a Greek yogurt cup.....works much better for me.
