Today I weighed in at 201.6. As I wrote in my last blog post, I've been dealing with water weight gain since I started a new strength-training regimen. I am so proud of myself that I have stuck with my new lifestyle and not backslid, even when the scale was not telling me what I wanted to hear.

Before I started lifting weights, I had gotten down to 201.2. Then I shot up to 207 in the span of just a few days! My weight has been slowly stabilizing since then, but it's taken a while. This is the first time in about two weeks I have seen "201" on the scale at all.

I'm excited that I'm only .4 pounds away from getting back to where I was before I started lifting weights. I'm even more excited about the fact that since I started with the weights and strength-training, my body looks slimmer, I've already started to change my shape, and my clothes fit a little better. It is a big motivation to keep going and to add to my routine.

I've been having a lot of mobility issues lately, as well, so it feels nice to be physically active, improve my strength and flexibility, and build more healthy habits that are going to be really good for me in the long run.
