July 29- new growth

Today started out amazing! I weighed in and have hit 21 lbs down!!!! Such a feat, and thanks to sparkpeople I have been on again of again over the years so I could go back historically and match it to another time and place. This current weight takes me back to Jan 2010! So many years now, and then I felt like I needed to lose some, at least now I have been making the difference and I found the motivation and built a plan to make it feasible!
Next great thing was I got to the gym late, but I didn't want the shirk my warmup cardio, so I amped up the tread and complete a mile in 16 minutes with inclines between 5 to 10%. I couldn't believe I did that without feeling like I was dying! Then I went to the trainer. She had me on and off cardio with lifting, lunges, squats, and the dreaded planks. I really felt like I was working it, but not like a month ago when I joined. I barely could make it through sets now I am getting through them a little quicker. Having a trainer really has paid off!
Then I got to summer school, it was an ok day. We now have 8 days left! I need a break! But why is powering me through this is my hubby and I are actually planning a vaca for right before school! I am trying to plan either kayaking or rafting and lots of outdoor workouts! I can't wait to get down time!!!
This evening I went to yoga and it was great to have the relaxation and stretching!
Overall, it has taken 7 months to get here, but it has been worth it. I am looking forward to reaching the next goals me keeping this lifestyle up!
