emoticon I had my last IV treatment this morning! SO thankful that these are done and praying I won't need more for quite some time. Once again I left feeling very tired and have fought the fatigue all day. I did get a nap taken, but could use another one. I pushed through and ran some "had to get done" errands with the kids and we went to McD's for lunch while out. This afternoon, other than sleeping, I have managed to Spark, print out photos for scrapping and figure out which doctor visits I need printouts for as we submit to insurance on our own. Need that tomorrow so I can get them after my doctor visit.

emoticon Doctor visit will be for my knee and I discussed how sore it was yesterday after walking for two hours so he's planning to look into the hip/ankle connection and see if there is something there not supporting the knee as well. Will discuss the next steps for my liver/blood detox too.

emoticon Countdown (for me) is on for the family heading out for a camping trip on Thursday. Looking forward to my time by myself....3 days! Planning to meet my friend Janette for supper on Thursday night so that will be a fun thing. I will have to start doing all the barnyard chores as well which I'm not looking forward to completely as I have to milk the goats morning and evening and feed the baby calf from that milk. Really it won't take but about an hour each time, but once a day would have been plenty for me! LOL Been looking at movies on Netflix that I might enjoy watching too. Any suggestions?

BL Challenge - Team Emerald: This week our inter-team challenge is a fun one that is called "Share Some Summer Lovin'." I haven't done it yet, but am planning to get it accomplished today and/or tomorrow! Need to post notes on five or more teammates pages and give goodies to members on other BL teams. Go Emerald!

Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5-6)

This scripture says God supplies us with encouragement. Encouragement says, "You can do it!" But perhaps you have heard the words "You can't" repeatedly throughout your life. Many people are good at telling us what we cannot do. Other people may not be against us, and may even have good intentions, but they're not so sure we can do it, either.

Parents, teachers, coaches, friends, family members, and leaders of church groups or social activities often fail to realize the power of their words over young lives. Many children and teenagers grow up thinking, I can't, when that isn't true at all! No matter how many times you have heard someone say to you, "You can't," I want to say to you, "Oh, yes, you can!" I believe miracles come in "cans" -- our belief that we can do whatever we need to do through Christ Who is our strength.

I believe in you; God believes in you; and it's time for you to believe in yourself. Today is a new day! Put the past and all of its negative, discouraging comments behind you. Negative words and words that speak of failure come from the enemy, not from God. So decide right now to not allow the power of "you can't" to influence you anymore.

God tells you to have courage, so always remember if you feel "discouraged," that it is from the enemy and if you feel "encouraged," that is from God. Choose to agree with God and say to yourself "I can!" And let the power of your positive thoughts and words outweigh the power of the negative words anyone else has ever spoken over you.

Glad to hear your IV treatment is completed. Hope your doc will find source of your knee problem and provide some relief :)

TWO HOURS of walking? Wow! Did you do that in one sitting? If it is, I think that's a LOT of walking at one time. Maybe you can walk for an hour and then ice your knees and rest, and then do the other hour later?

When I first had my knee problem, I also had an inflamed bursa in the popliteal region so I iced the back of my knee. But it really depends on what your actual knee diagnosis is.

    Take care & emoticon

When we had one goat we ended up not miking her since she had triplets and we figured she had enough to do to supply all 3 of them with milk.
