Current exercise program

Sunday, July 28, 2013

I have been doing Spark everyday for three months and have not lost an ounce. However, I am not quitting. I just keep trying new things until something works. I have been able to stop my mood swings pretty much by eating everything on the menu at regular intervals. The only thing that makes me have low blood sugar which means bingeing is when I get carried away and work to hard and long without eating or resting. I did that day before yesterday, but I only ate a half package of peanuts.
My exercise. Almost everyday I do circuit training at the gym, but only twenty minutes. I do yoga at night before bed. I want to swim. I can't do anything that bangs my knees. They are almost due for replacement.

To help you not binge after working out you might try a pre and post workout snack. Something with a little bit of carbs and protein and snack on complex carbs, they stay with you longer. It is good you are determined not to give up. You might want to increase your circuit training to 30 min next week and see if that helps with your calorie burn. I was at a serious plateau until I really upped by strength training and was a little more honest in my food/calorie tracking. Good luck to you emoticon
