July 26- moving forward

So tonight hubby and I went for a bike ride. We haven't truly ridden since the Tour de Cure at the beginning of June, so I was nervous to see how I would handle hills and climbs. Amazingly I stayed in a higher gear throughout the ride and even powered up a couple new climbs like a Mt. Biker :) I see myself starting to be more active and able to last longer in cardio experiences without feeling like I am dying the first 20 mins in. I also feel like I am beginning to have semblance of balance in life. I am not staying at work till ungodly hours, I am doing things around he house and on my personal to do list. But I am feeling excited to see how I will be prepared for next year mentally and physically. Here's to 9 more days of summer school, 5 days of PD, 1 day of planning, 10 weekend days, and 5 real vacation days ( yet to be planned). This will be the greatest month kickoff before beginning the new school year. Night all!
