MY Cardio Work is Smarter than That!

60 minutes Masala Bhangra class .. usually taught in The Nameless Studio's signature level of difficulty as derived from how they teach hatha/vinyasa yoga ... well, this time, it was easy to imagine the teacher on video this time... rather than in real life ... I needed to keep it way down to my level ... or risk a blood sugar low ... again

This TV-like detachment was made even easier, because she kept grousing how slow the music she chose was, this time. It helped that she has a Kelly Ripa-like, wraithlike body, too. Mind you the class was practically a private session, and the other student was young, lively, pretty and plump ...

I've been there with an actual aerobics class that caused bad upper abs injury by being followed to the letter (back in the '80s ) and was sick of going there ... even if by my own hand at home ... with yoga-pilates fusion, mostly. (My cardio work is smarter than that!)

    I've been away from sparkpeople for a while, and I was having trouble figuring out who Tiniertina. Read this blog and I had an aha moment. Glad to see that you are still hanging in there and still doing your yoga.

    Hopefully, at our age, we've gained a little common sense and know when to push and when to back off. Injured ab muscles is a pretty darn good reason to back off.
