beginning day 2 of no extra sugar

I've refined my focus - no extra sugar means no candy, cookies, cake, etc. At this point not worrying about hidden sugars or sugar in food recipes.
so yesterday fine actually - I anticipated situations where I might be tempted by a sudden craving (like passing the vending machine, going to the store) and said to myself "no thanks, I don't eat that; it's not good for me". this is also good practice for Saturday scrap day where there will be treats galore. i'm going to take some low fat chips as a munchie substitute. And some flavored, sugar free beverage. Neither are the best choices long term but my focus is the sugar addiction. Need to get through this.
I also anticipate that another key will be distraction. so when I'm hit with an evening craving, I'm going to make sure I'm busy in my scraproom or doing a household chore.
