So yesterday was my rest day from body was pretty sore from running the day before. I did my strength training instead. I used a new strength training workout from Sparkpeople's exercise generator...the runner's workout or whatever it's called. Seems good although some of the exercise demos are confusing for me...I have difficulty translating someone else doing an exercise or stretch from looking at them and then copying it with my body as it is, so I hope I'm not doing the exercises hugely wrong emoticon After the workout (which included inclined pushups on a stair) I could barely lift my arms up to drink a glass of water hahaha. Well, upper arm strength has always been a problem for me and I rarely do things to make it better.

Today I'm still sore but I think in a very good way because it feels like my body is toning. My lower sides of my belly are sore, my inner thighs, and shoulders/armpit area are all sore.

I did the run/walk interval training today. I was wrong with my earlier blog entry, the first week is actually alternating 1 minute of running 8 times with 1.5 minutes of walking in between, and 5 minutes warm up and cool down. I really didn't know if I could do it. I actually took a break halfway through to go to the bathroom, and cooled down a little bit...when I looked in the mirror my face looked pretty red which worried me a little bit. But I also don't know what my face looks like when I work out in general because I rarely look at it.

A couple times I stopped midway through the running spurts to fix my headphones so I wouldn't lose the prompting, but all in all, I was able to still do better than last time, because I managed to shave off 30 seconds from my last mins/mile pace (with walking time included) so that's cool. I was still really sweaty and tired when I went to stretch.

Now I'm okay, though still sore (I guess I like to complain about soreness haha) and my arms are hurting while typing...oh well.

I'm going to take the rest of the day kind of easy, I already got my workout done which lately I've been procrastinating until late in the day for, and did my homework for school emoticon

Just need to shower really soon and cook dinner later...I'm making a recipe for vegan eggs Benedict that I had to modify a bit because otherwise the recipe calculator was calculating it as a huge amount of people realize how bad the vegan recipes they make are sometimes? Idk...

    As long as it's muscle pain and not serious pain... I always savor that feeling. I love when my muscles let me know they're still there and willing and able to achieve greatness. In fact, it bugs me when my muscles get toned and I don't always *feel* my workouts. How warped is that? LOL
