Body obsessed.

I really think I'm starting to become obsessed with my body again. But this time it's in a good way. A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog about how amazing the human body is, and I just keep realising this again and again. Last night was one of those moments.

I ran in the morning but didn't have time for my ST, so I decided to do it as soon as I got home from work. It's a 20-minute walk from work and the temperature and humidity were very high yesterday so when I got in my brain tried the excuse "you're far too hot to work out". I could have just argued that that's completely illogical, but instead I tried a different tactic. I agreed with that voice in my head, it WAS too hot, so I stripped off and did my workout au naturel. Take that, Voice!

I worked out in my room, where I have a walk-in wardrobe with mirrored doors, so I could see every little bit of me. Sorry if that's TMI, but I wanted to share because I seriously think everyone should try this at least once if you can. Have you ever seen your body really working? It's incredible. I could see my calves working when I did jumping jacks. I could see my leg and hip muscles working during my lunges. I saw the way my whole body worked together when I did narrow squats, to lower down and come up and stay balanced through it all. It's awesome.

So go ahead, try it (in private of course!) and see how really amazing your body is.
