Changes -- closures and new beginings

Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Last week my 14 week workshop came to a close. I really took a lot out of this group classes and learned alot more about myself. I am learning to trust myself more to take risks and not doubt but wonder to not be as afraid to hinder myself from greatness!!

Last week or so the Pantry got cleaned out and it felt good! I went out and brought foods that are healthy and clean not much processed food in my house.

This week I brought mason jars to learn how to make and can my own spaghetti sauce and tomatoe sauce as well as my own salsas. I am going to try this something new and hope for the best on this one!!!

New beginnings - I signed up for the community choir - jumped in and know that music makes me happy - i love it.

New beginnings - jumped into my grilling passion and playing around with veggies on the grill and not scared to try new things. Made BBQ No bone pork ribs and veggies very good cooked nicely not try my first time making it.

New beginnings - challenging myself to get moving again today!! So off to bed 5 am comes quick and will walk at least 30 mins each morning!!

You have been VERY busy! Keep it up! It's great when we find the right tools to keep us motivated and you are a true seeker. I agree with NBARNES, joining the community choir is an amazing thing to do. I hope it brings you ages of JOY. emoticon

Em - what a positive post, sounds like things are going well for you. We LOVE grilled veggies. We have a grill basket that makes grilling them so easy. You just cut up the veggies and drop them in the basket and put that right on the grill. We also love to marinate the veggies in a bit of low-fat balsamic vinagrette, adds delicious flavors without a lot of calories.

I'm impressed with your joining the community choir! I'm awful at singing and have great admiration for anyone who can carry a tune emoticon

Keep up the great work and enjoy all the new adventures!
