See You Later

Monday, July 22, 2013

Every time Tommy and I would leave each other, we never said good-bye, rather we would say "I love you. I'll see you later." I am supposed to be at the funeral home early today so that the family can have private time to say their final good-byes. I know that Tommy is in a better place now and that I will see him again someday, so I will not say good-bye to him today. Instead I will say, I love you. I'll see you later.

Take each day as it comes and continue to put trust in A God who loves and provides as we need. Very best wishes for you and Thor. emoticon

I think that "See you Later" is a wonderful, meaningful and true expression.

I deeply hope, and do believe that we will see our loved ones again.

You remain firmly in my thoughts and prayers, my heart just totally goes out to you during these extraordinarily difficult days.

I know when pets have died, I let the other pets sniff their body so they will understand why the dead pet is not around anymore. I do think it would be nice if Thor could see and hopefully sniff Tommy's dead body. It will help him understand.

I'm glad you know Tommy is in a better place; I believe he is too. And as someone else has said, when you meet up with him again, "he will be healthy and strong".

I hope and pray you have someone watching out for you in the same fine way you were there for Tommy -- everyone should have an angel such as yourself on their side:)
    Much hugs,

Cindy, I have been thinking about you ever since I read your blog about Tommy's passing. It breaks my heart so much!

You are right he is in a better place. You will see him again, and you will again enjoy each others company!

You are so strong, and I wish I could come through the computer and hug you so much!

I also would love to hug Thor to ease his pain.

Know that I am praying for you and Thor, Cindy , and I hope you are able to work through your grief with ease. Having God on your side, will sure help your grief a lot!

    Beautiful blog and amazing picture.

Chiming in with another comment posted. It would actually help I think if Thor could go. We had to let Aspen, my golden see Kanyon (our first golden) after his passing. My husband said she would never stop looking for him otherwise and not understand. It seemed very oddd to me at first but I think it really helped. I realize I am talking about dogs and hope ou do not take what I am saying wrong. I hope you understand I personally think it is very similar.

You take care of you. HUGS!

Does Thor get to go, too??? :-)

The next few days will be so up and down. Just remember that Tommy is still there with you and he'll help you through it all.

    One minute at a time..............

    Hugs to you!

That is a great way to see it. I truly believe that I will see my mom and other loved ones again one day. I also feel like they are looking down on us and with me every day. And he will be healthy and strong and not like the suffering he went through here. emoticon
