Plan for life vs regaining after losing

today's spark coach was interesting in that the subject was regaining weight after losing it.

One simple thing was that before we hop on a diet or exercise regime we need to ask ourselves if this is doable for life or not. If it is not, if we can NOT maintain those restrictions, the wise thing is to leave it alone.

    Even though it is a way of life, it is a constant challenge for most of us!
    BTW, I strongly dislike the word "diet" because of its connotations.

    For me Life has had many twists and turns and it takes maybe a step back to re-evaluate and make changes with it. Flexibility and remembering this is a Life Journey.

    I can do this for the rest of my life. It is just when we say no to some food that makes it tough. So it makes sense to not limit yourself to only certain foods.

    it just has to be a way of living unless you are using the word, diet, in the manner of what one eats, not in a restrictive way.

    This has certainly been true in my life.

    I think I have been on a diet-in a restrictive way-for 40+ years and it certainly hasn't been sustainable.
