My Secret Weapon Against Fast Food and Summer Heat

Ta da! This is my Vector car cooler. Okay, this isn't my actual cooler, but I have this exact model. It plugs into the cigarette lighter/outlet in my car and keeps my lunches and water cool all day, like a little mini-fridge. I keep it in my car, and each morning I bring out my provisions for the day, turn it on, and off I go. On very hot days here in Los Angeles, I add an ice pack, too.

Because I work out of my car with no access to a kitchen or office and my days are typically 9 hours or more, I used to hit the fast food places (sometimes more than once a day). The cooler has been my number one tool for breaking the fast food habit.

Whenever I start thinking that a weight-mangement obstacle is insurmountable, I remember my car cooler. If I can solve the problem of eating healthy in hot weather with the challenges of my job, anything is possible! emoticon

Wow this is so cool! I think more people should know about this emoticon It`s good because you`re eating healthier, and also you`re not spending all this money on food and drinks. Like water. A case of 24 on sale is like 3 bucks. But one bottle, depending on the store could cost you 1.50 - 2.00 . Madness.
