Cooler Sunday

Sunday, July 21, 2013

Cloudy today and lots cooler. This is Puckerbrush weekend in Forest City. It is our town celebration so had a big parade and lots going on down town. The baseball team played a district game last night and sorry to say they lost and their season is over. Grandson was very depressed but he has two more years yet. When we got back to town the fireworks were just starting so pulled over and watched.

Exercise is going pretty good. No problem with the left leg but the right one gives me problems. Have to keep reminding myself that it is only 5 weeks since surgery and not to rush it. The eating plan is not the best. I slip up a lot with all the running around to games and celebration. Now that they are done maybe I can get on the right track. We are going to try to camp and see how that goes. Summer is going so quick and we haven't been able to get out and enjoy the camping we usually do.

School will be starting up on the 20th of August. It will feel so strange not to be subbing this year or bowling. Hope the winter will not get me down.

Yesterday sure was a perfect day until the thunder and lightning started. Glad to hear you are out and about and the camping trip could be just what the Dr. ordered....I know how much you enjoy doing this. Can't believe school will be starting already....seems like the kids just got out. As far as not bowling this need to heal and get stronger a little bit at a time to be back in tip top shape....could you go to the allies and cheer on your team? You can't let this winter get you need to keep moving forward with your plan. This winter could give you that opportunity to tweak your plan for a healthier you.
Take care and Have a wonderful week.....One day at a time.
