My original plan for the morning was to start at the gym. I knew by 6 a.m. that was just not going to happen as the knee was not up to it yet. I also knew I needed to be able to help with the lawn mowing and had some walking to do at Walmart. It was a good decision for today. Just reset the alarm and then headed to pick up this weeks Bountiful Basket. Lots of basics this week which was nice.

Afterwards it was off to Walmart for a few more groceries for the week and also to buy supplies for the homeschool co-op while school items were at a good sale price. A relief having 98% of the supplies purchased as I can now get the final "big task" finished with plenty of time to spare before our first day of classes in September. I plan to find a time when Maegann can go with me and we clean out the cabinets and build the class boxes. I originally planned to go while the rest of the family was camping for three days, but changed my mind about spending an entire morning or afternoon at the church by myself when it could take 90 min. with help.

Once home and things were put away I got some of the lawn mowing done as Maegann had finished the entire front already. Yeah for her as it is again a 105 degree day and was already 80 by 10 a.m. They got home about 11 and she got the back yard done so we could finish up.

Next I headed to the library so I could get some books on Mexico as that is our next unit study and I fully intend to start some schoolwork this week even if it is just hit and miss.

Stopped and grabbed a teriyaki chicken salad at Subway as I was hungry and feeling so tired. The tiredness did not leave so I took a long nap. I have remained tired so I'm guessing it is my body and the work it is doing to detox the liver and clean my blood. Since I didn't feel like doing anything I did some Sparking and email and when it was time to fix supper I was thankful I'd chosen something simple. Baked salmon filets with corn on the cob and fresh plums. It was yummy. Now I'm watching a MasterChef episode as two more were finally unlocked online. I dislike that you have to have paid access to watch stuff on FOX.

Tomorrow... My daughter is still gearing up to face the mean girls at church. She's been a wreck off an on all day which is totally expected. Pray God provides the right opportunity tomorrow so she can get this done and move forward. So thankful she is finally realizes they are controlling her even without being near them. Other than plans for the family. Maegann is going to youth group with the friend we took swimming yesterday and hopefully a couple others that she went to camp with will be there so they can spend time together. Evidently they rent out a small pool each Sunday in the summer and have dinner, swimming, snacks and devotions. In her words, "Something to look forward to after the rough morning."

I feel for your daughter. I'll include her in my prayers. Church should be a place of resting and refilling, not stressing! Kudos to you for listening to your body and honoring what it needs. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Church groups are still composed of kids! You seem to comfort her as she makes the transition to adulthood, we need help as we pass through adulthood! You had a busy day even if you don't recognize how much you accomplished.
