You are very brave to take all these steps to get yourself fit and healthy. My highest weight was 360 that I know of and I understand it's no fun. You are still young and I know you will beat this disease. I love OA and for the first time in my life, I'm discovering what's been "eating" me all these years. We don't have a F2F meeting here so I attend meetings online and on the phone. It has been very helpful for me. I love your apartment. It's small like mine and for me, its just what I need. I have a tiny kitchen too but then I hate to

Hang on and continue to use all the tools at your disposal. emoticon

Like you I never cooked. My business took me on the road and when home I got into the habit of mostly already prepared food from a gourmet market. When I stopped being on the road and started to cook for myself I really saw the weight come off. I even ate more because my foods did not have all the hidden fats and calories that the prepared foods had even though they looked lean and mean. When I ate out I always had more calories grabbing the bread and butter on the table. It's sitting there and I'm getting hungry waiting 25 minutes after I order to eat. I try not to eat out except for special occasions.

You have a dog in an apartment so you will have to walk the dog at least every morning and evening. Good exercise. I heard that in O.A. you can get a sponsor. Someone you can call when you feel unhealthy eating starting to happen. I think that is a great tool.

You are young so this is a great time to take off the weight. I wish you lots of luck. I know breaking up after 5 years is not easy but just think no "Man" foods now in the house. No excuse not to keep just healthy food for yourself in the house.

I know those thoughts, and those feelings... and honest / right hand up I only sleep well since I got on board with three food stops a day, unlimited water, pre-measured food stop number four is optional.
I needed a couple of weeks of success doing that much before I could shut my eyes and not get panicky. The panic fades and security builds, you'll shrink and you'll be alright with it. I tried OA, one meeting survived for three months then dissolved... nearest OA f2f is too far away. So good for you to have meeting(s) access. I'm encouraging you and look forward to your next vlog. emoticon
