Get Back What I Lost

Saturday, July 20, 2013

I have been so lost lately, I have lost my self-esteem and self confidence as well as my motivation. I know that when times get tough then I should get back on that horse and ride as hard as I can. But lately all I want to do is waddle in self pitty. I dont know what got over me in ways of not doing what I set out to do.

I have a schedule set for the weekend and all next week so that I can get back on track with everything. I know I have to do this for me and no body else. If I think with a clear head and put my plan into action I know I will succeed where I have failed before.
Starting tomorrow I will start my diet again and this time I will succeed. It will contain the following diet

Saturday July 20

spinach and mushroom egg white omelette
1-8 oz glass of milk
1-8 oz glass of water
1 small slice of watermelon

1 - 8 oz glass of milk
1-8 oz glass of water
1 slice of ham
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1 slice of tomato
1 leaf of lettuce
1 slice of watermelon and 5 strawberries

1- 8 oz glass of water
1 - 8 oz glass of milk
1 medium potato
1 piece of chicken
1 cup of garden fresh veggies
1/2 cup of yogurt
1/4 cup of sliced strawberries

My exercises will be as follows

60 minutes of cardio workout
30 minutes on treadmill
60 minutes of zumba
120 minutes of cleaning house
120 of gardening

If I can do this then I will keep it up. I made myself a promise that I want this so badly. I hate to fail and when I get my self-esteem back to where it should be then i will work on my self confidence and motivation. I have t he determination to do this and this time I will succeed where I have failed several times before.

I didn't see this blog, guess that's why I don't know what's up with you. How's it going? This sounded like a good plan, success is in the offing when we remain consistent.. Did you get your treadmill cord yet? talk soon.

To get motivated, you accomplish something. Too often people wait around to get motivated, but motivation comes AFTER action.

You can do this. Just remember, if you have been off the horse, take it easy on the first week and "ramp up" your workouts. You don't want to finish it all one day and then say "Geez, that kicked my butt. I need to take tomorrow off." This is what happened to me when I was getting over being sick. I tried to go at it full throttle and sent my body into shutdown mode with soreness.

And we all slip and slide and that's what being here is for. So we can cheer you on when you get back on track! And after you get the first day done, you will feel better and motivated because you CAN do this. It just a long time to do (I work out for 2 hours a day, but with all the breaks it eats up like 5 hours of my time. But I can do laundry or whatever in between - I just can't be outside in this heat for a full 4 miles this summer. Too hot!)
