Monthly Measurements!

I don't know if you all do the monthly measurements here on spark people but I do and I am very happy with my results this month. When I started in May I tracked my measurements and the 1 minute fitness test for crunches and push-ups. In June I didn't track my fitness tests and my measurements did go down since May, some by 1-2 inches which I thought was awesome however, I also had lost a good amount of weight by that time. This month however i still weighed about the same as then and so I figured my measurements this month wouldn't be as great however here are my monthly measurements for the month of July 2013.

Weight: 241
Waist: 49in to 48in.
Hip: 55.5in to 52.1in.
Thigh 31 to 28.5in.
Upper Arm: 14.5 to 14in.
Throat: 14.5 to 13in.
Calf: 17.5 to 16.4in.

Fitness Test ( 1 minute)
Push- Ups May'13 From 9 to 16.
Crunches May'13 from 11 to 28.

I am very happy with those numbers! I am glad that I also measure and not just look at the scale otherwise I would think I haven't been improving. I think I will try and do monthly pictures as well. I think it would be fun to visually see the changes so hopefully next month I will have something like that to follow the measurements :D Have a great day!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    That's great you are doing measurements! I am too! Because like you, if the scale doesn't move and I have nothing else to check my progress I won't feel like I am doing anything.
    You are doing great on your measurements! You really lost a lot of inches and that's great!
    Pictures are good to do to - I am just not that brave!
