Late afternoon or evening boredom is likely at least part of my problem. On top of this is my enjoyment of eating. My A1c recently was 6.8 (same as last time) which surprised me as my eating habits lately have been atrocious. Walking is one of the suggestions for dealing with the desire to eat when I am not actually hungry. I am just recovering from double hip replacement surgery so walking would be good for that as well. My hemoglobin count is low so doctor recommends taking iron supplement and seeing what happens. It could possibly be the cause of tiredness, low energy and low motivation to be active physically.
I am very pleased with finding out some causes of my recent behavior and things I can do to improve my situation. Much better than being hopelessly mired in a rut with no ideas for dealing with it.
My stars truly are aligned so will take advantage of it but, what is it sports people say - don't get too high or too low.
