I worked out hard today. We were doing sets of five with the river and five against the river. It was very hard. All together we did 50 against the river and 60 with the river. My legs are feeling it. I think that it is building strength and working cardio. I have signed up to do the Out of the Darkness walk here. It is a walk to help families who are dealing with a death from suicide. This is a cause very close to my heart. I am walking on team Froto which is a friends team in honor of her son. The walk is only a mile to a mile and a half. For me that seems like a thousand. So I am in training with a goal in mind. The walk is in October so I have time to get moving and build up to that mile. I can do this!

    What a great goal to work towards. I have been personally affected by suicides in my family, yes, more than one.

    I thought about you on vacation this past week. Your water workouts always sound so great so I used the opportunity in the pool at the hotels we stayed at to work some muscles. That is hard work. I admire you!

    I think you're smart to set a goal, and give yourself a reasonable amount of time to work up to it. I have no doubt you'll be ready by October.
