Briefly ...

Truthfully, I expected to be out of here hours ago. I came to film some videos on technique for my color guard kids, and now I've managed to suck myself into the world of SparkPeople. Oh well. I guess I could have done worse. ;) :P

Anyhoo ...

I leave tomorrow for the Color Vibe 5K with my friend Kayla who confessed to me she hasn't trained at all. OH WELL, haha. We will still have fun, I think. :) I'll try to maintain or beat my time from last weekend (even though it was only six days ago, haha, not even ... five? Maybe. I don't math real well, as I've said before). But it's another color run, and I like those because the color stations are every kilometer. The Biggest Loser 5K was harder for me because there were inspiration stations ... but they were just cool quotes at every kilometer. At least this way I have something to get covered in as I go! Although I can't wait to see the awesome pics from the BL 5K. I made sure I got in front of EVERY camera, hahaha. :P Oops.

Anyway ... Things are going well. I leave for France Wednesday. EEK! Scary thoughts! :P I'm going to do my best to lose while we're away. Our hotel has a fitness center (well at least the one in Paris does, not sure about our hotel in Caen), so I plan on using it every morning before we go out so I can get some serious workout time in. I'm hoping they have weights ... :) Two weeks after we come back? The ROC Race in DC (ROC = Ridiculous Obstacle Course). That is gonna be NUTS. Hahaha. It'll be fun though!

... OK. I need to go be productive, and eat before 9 p.m. so I don't end up gaining when I weigh in tomorrow.

Hope everyone's doing well!

(Sorry this wasn't as "brief" as I intended it to be!)
