Weigh in day...and a LOSS!

Stopped into my meeting today, didn't stay but I did weigh in before taking the kids out to dinner somewhere with more powerful air conditioning than my house. I was pretty sure I just maintained this week but apparently sweating to the point of melting in this heat warranted a nice 2.4 LOSS! Can I get a whoop whoop? That is 9.8 lbs in 3 weeks! I'm stoked! Only .2 lbs to hit my goal of 10 lbs for the biggest loser challenge for my 100 plus club. I've NEVER hit my goal and normally would not have set my goal so high but I had such a nice loss that first week I just had to. I am determined to hit that baby next week. The wedding I am attending out of town this weekend is going to be a hurdle I will have to tackle in stride because I know they aren't serving salad...oh well I will hit every fruit stand between here and our friends that we are staying with so I can eat healthy there at least. Then I'll just skip the cake cause I don't really care for frosting anyway and limit the fatty items that make it onto my plate. There has to be a veggie option right?

Our friends also have a magnificent swimming pool and 4 gorgeous acres of manicured lawn that I am going to familiarize my running shoes with. I am ready!
