Week One Complete!

I started to change my life on a Wednesday. Yea, it’s a bit confusing when I look at my reports and the numbers go from Sunday- Saturday but I wasn’t waiting til Sunday to start. I’ve done that many times before and it always fails. So I started one morning not caring about numbers or schedules or how I am going to do it every day. I focused on TODAY and I started. Then the next day I got up and did it all over again. After a whole week I know this time will be different - no quick fixes, no fad diet, no ridiculous and overwhelming goals. No trying; just DOING. Small goals that I can achieve NOW that will eventually help me with the bigger goal. It’s like a career, right? You don’t decide you want to be a doctor and then walk into the hospital pretending to be a doctor. You go to school, you learn, you grow; but everything you do along the way leads to becoming a doctor. I got to Friday and for a quick instant I began to worry how I was going to keep it up on the weekend. But then Saturday I got up and just did it. And I will continue to do it. (Nike totally makes sense to me now!)
