Brain Fart Monday

Yep...I had a brain fart this morning. I walked out of the house without my workout gear! emoticon So no gym workout for me today. I have been trying to do a lap around the second floor of my work building every few hours, just to get steps on my Fitbit. So far I've made my daily goal of 3K, plus some. But I feel crappy about no work out. I will do one at home tonight. Even if I have to flog myself with a wet noodle to do it! emoticon You'd think that missing my workout, I'd be extra careful in my eating...but no...I had some Strawberry Whoppers and some mini Twix bars. I'll log those as soon as I;m done with this blog. And then make another lap around the building. emoticon

The weekend wasn't too bad. I did really well on the eating side of it. And while I didn't have a formal workout to do (I seldom workout on the weekends!), I did do some walking. We went to Fry's on Sat morning and got there before they opened, by like 30 mins or so. So while hubby waited in the car, I went walking. By the time they opened the store I had over 10K steps! The rest of the day walking was all gravy! emoticon Then Sunday, I did laundry and helped pull the floor boards up in the back of the race trailer. Manual labor in hot temps = lots of sweat! Plus Sunday...we got tied up and didn't even eat until dinner time. emoticon

We had to stop at Lowe's on the way home from shopping on Sat and we ended up buying a new vacuum cleaner. My old still works. but the new one is stronger and has the Pet hair attachment. We also had to buy a new wireless router, our old one was flaky. Everything connected to it just fine except our wireless printer. In the end I got frustrated and just used the USB to connect to my PC, then shared it on our home network with hubby's PC. That's how it will stay for now, until I figure out why it's not connecting. emoticon

Dinner tonight is whatever I have in the freezer. I do have left over chicken enchiladas, but after the sweets today at work, I probably don't need any add salt intake weight! Speaking of weight..after the weekend I was DOWN a few oz! emoticon

    one thing I started that helped me with the w/o clothes - they go from the dryer to the trunk of my car. I even keep a spare pair of tennis shoes in the trunk. Lack of w/o clothes is no longer an excuse I use (of course, I manage to come up with others)

    emoticon Congratulations on getting in the Steps and on your Home Workout!!
    I used to do Laps Regularly at Wal-Mart, and I still do them occasionally when the weather is not co-operating. I did get a Few Comments, but that was because I would add 100 pounds of Kitty Litter to my Cart while I was doing the Laps. People wanted to know how many Cats I had (1 at that time) and whether Kitty Litter was On Sale (Beats Me, I didn't check the price because I am not buying it)
    emoticon When I lost 100 Pounds, I did buy Ten 10 Pound Bags of Kitty Litter to donate to the Local Pet Rescue.

    Do people look at you funny when you're doing your laps? I do that at Walmart sometimes. Arn thinks it's cause I forget stuff and have to go clear back to the other side of the store. He doesn't realize it's a plan! Hugs, Calen~
