Pallet vs. Bathroom scale

Monday, July 15, 2013

Ok we have a Pallet scale (4x4) looks like the one they use on biggest looser. I can get on it and get the same readings 8 out of 10 times. And a I also have the typical digital bathroom scale I get on it six different times and gives me six different readings from 211 to 220.8......pallet one says I weight 212.7 as of this morning last night said 215.1 does this sound right to anyone pallet scale doesn't measure anything small so having a hard time trying to figure out what to put on it knowing how much something weights to see how accurate it is.....and no I don't plan on weighting myself everyday makes the pallet scale great cause its out in the barn will help me stay away from it lol

If you get more consistent readings from the pallet scale, then go with that. Remember that your weight will fluctuate throughout the day, so it's not unusual to weigh a few pounds less in the morning than you do in the evening. Whichever one you choose, just be sure to set a day for weighing in and then forget about it the rest of the time!

I don't have a good scale, but I get a fairly good idea of what is going on.

How clothes fit, and my appearince (face) also are pretty good barometers.
