Day 7 - be grateful.

I have been back on Sparkpeople for 7 consecutive days. I think every seventh day I will post a gratitude blog where I make space in my week to be grateful for how wonderful my life is.

I, of course, have these small realizations about how beautiful my life is throughout my day - but I like the idea of making a habit of reveling in the goodness that is my life.

Today I am grateful for my back - no matter how sore it might get, or how many times I might rupture a disc, it always heals. It has taught me resiliency, and I think (I hope) it has finally taught me to listen closely to my body and to respect what it can do and honor what it can't.

Living with my body is so much easier/better/rewarding/peacef
ul when I thank it and listen to it instead of neglecting it and shaming it.

Today I am grateful for countless things, but mostly I am grateful for my opportunity to enjoy another day with all of its splendor.
