Rest day today

Today was a rest day so no walking! I am to the point now that my calves and feet are more stiff than sore, so I will have to get out for at least one mile tomorrow....gonna try like hell to get my act together early so I can go in the morning before it gets too hot out, this walking at 2 and 3 in the afternoon...blech.
My Nike+ app said that I burned almost a thousand calories on my walk yesterday and I know I ate great and made good choices and ended up with a great calorie deficit....today was not so good on the eating, but my choices weren't too terrible. I started out good...I made scrambled eggs with onions and bell peppers and sausage links. I did great on my portion control and did well at lunch as well with an avocado, tomato and ham sandwich with a few chips on the side.
I think I lost some control when I went out with my sister and she stopped at McD's, since I just finished my sandwich, I was able to say no to food, but I gave in on the drink...she ordered me a small frappe which I sipped on for the couple hours we were out, but after I got home I grazed for the rest of the evening.... a few more chips, some ice cream, ate dinner, a couple of pull and peel twizzlers.... I tried to pull it back together and tried some almonds and a handful of sunflower seeds, and then someone upstairs made popcorn...
I didn't eat a whole lot of any one thing, but its been nonstop snacking since I got home this afternoon and I am now to the point of almost uncomfortably full.
Good thing is that tomorrow is a new day and I have a chance to make it a great day!
