Healthy Weight Loss Starts with Your Meals

Saturday, July 13, 2013

You can actually afford healthy foods IF you are determined to find them. I went to 3 places (you can probably limit that but one store ran out of something I really like) just to save some dough and get what I wanted. Next time going to order online some items so it saves a trip.

I have to admit I enjoy prepping meals and making sure my portions are on the money. Take for instance my Fiber One Chocolate Cereal at just 80 calories. 9 grams of fiber and just 25 grams of carbs. Pretty damn good Macros for a cereal if you ask me. I went to a second store just to find this. Watch your portions though.. 3/4 cup is all you need!

So when someone says eating healthy costs more - I say - No it doesn't. I spend less at times because I get filling foods like vegetables and whole grains.

Happy shopping indeed. :)

Yep. Especially if you make sure to watch your portions and not accidentally eat more than you need to, that stuff will last you longer than your unhealthy stuff did that you used to eat greater quantities of anyway. Quality, not quantity. Yo go girl!
