So Far In 2013

I have really changed my focus this year. Rather than weigh all the time, I have shifted to a plan of low carbs most days, setting daily goals for numbers of steps, and booking food daily in order to keep a finger on the pulse of my eating habits.
It is working for me. No...I have not dropped a ton of weight fast. What has happened is that slowly, steadily, I am down 14 pounds. I feel great. It is no longer a burden, or punitive, to eat healthy and move. It feels natural. It is me.
At the current rate I will loose another 14 pounds or so by year end. At that point, while ideally I could still stand to loose 10-15 more, I will be at a good enough weight for a 65 year old broad. Ha!
