The last week of June, we went to Disney World for vacation. My first time! I was and still am THRILLED at the fun we had! :)
It was H.O.T. - HOT!
The cast members (all over every park) were reminding us to drink water
- a bottle an hour while we were in the parks... We were met with this reminder when we entered the gate, when we stopped to get pictures taken, when we went on a ride, when we were shopping.
Also, have you ever walked a disney park?? We WALKED...miles every day. We were in the parks most days for a minimum of 6 hours.
Food wasn't such a great thing on my vacation, I ate quite a bit of "fast food". But, I did try to keep track and make sure i wasn't going all out too crazy each day.
I MISS DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came home and had gained ONE... ONE POUND over vacation. JUST ONE!! SERIOUSLY... and, that was two days after we came back...
Why do I miss Disney you might ask?? Let me tell you... This week, I have not had much water - maybe two or three GLASSES (until today when I brought my big glass back to work!), I haven't been EXERCISING - we are installing new flooring in our house and we've been working on this every night. To be truthful, it's my EXCUSE not to exercise.. AND, now that I am back home, it's hot, it's summer, and take-out is so much easier.... UGH!
So, I miss Disney because i was doing things that were so good for my body while having fun, and I am struggling to bring that back to "normal life" again.
It's Friday.... that's a good day for a fresh start? right??
