I discovered this morning, that even though I haven't been working out faithfully, and I haven't been tracking my food (there was even a day that I ate an entire pint of ice cream!), I'm still losing weight! I went to put a skirt on this morning, because, you know, I have to wear something to work, and it actually fit like it was supposed to! I'm totally surprised, because I didn't think that I had been eating all that well. Well, I apparently have been.
Layla girl (thing 2, or my girl kitty) has lost a lot of weight, and seems to be slimming down to a good summer weight. Muon, on the other hand, still seems to think that the food's going to disappear. (He's run out of food twice in his entire life. Once was when he was going to the vet to be 'fixed' and the other was when he ate his entire food allowance in a few hours). We're still walking him and chasing him a lot. We did notice that he tends to stare at his sister while she's eating until she finally gives up and lets him have the rest, but she does eat her share of the half can. (I give them each a quarter a can a day, because it helps with his digestion. Would you believe he's allergic to fish?)
I started back on kettlebells this week, and have so far done 2 workouts. I lasted about 7 minutes in the first one (go figure, I sit at a desk all day), and I lasted 12 today. I'm slowly working back up to being comfortable with doing the entire workout without killing myself. I've moved to Bob Harper's DVDs for a while. I just can't seem to take Jillian's stuff at the moment. I found out today that one of my coworkers (a lady who got her degree when I was very little) enjoys Insanity workouts. She's currently my new role model.
